A 3-day Community Arts Festival in Woodbridge, Suffolk
Ambient music provides the backdrop to all events.
Live performances, installations, workshops, talks, art, film, kids’ events, meditation, yoga, fashion, mental well-being, river walks, musical metaverse, climate change - all bringing the area together to enjoy an uplifting and inspiring weekend.
Friday evening we salute women in electronic music with a showing of films and projections in the Longshed Gallery, including 'Sisters with Transistors' with a panel and live performances.
Saturday morning we welcome families and children of all ages to workshops and an Environmental Awareness Market on Whisstocks Square showing respect for our area with talks and displays on how climate change is affecting our beautiful river, as it flows out to sea and around the world.
The Saturday Autumnal Equinox hears the beautiful River Deben coming alive to the sound of a symphony of boats playing ambient drones (long notes) with changing harmonies heard along the river path.
This river wide installation ‘Floating Equal’ will take place at noon at high tide and include a reading of the River Charter which will be brought up river from the sea.
In the afternoon and evening, we welcome live performers, a campfire session and more visual artists, installations and live music.
Sunday morning continues in the Longshed with a Techno Brunch.
Sunday afternoon St Marys hosts a concert mixing ambient and classical music with an inspiring line-up of world class musicians.
